On the basis of Tilak Verma’s finest and memorable half -century innings, the Indian team defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets to win a record 9th Asia Cup title. Tilak Verma scored an unbeaten 69 off 53 balls. The innings included 3 fours and 4 sixes.
Chasing the target of 147 runs, the Indian team was very disappointing. India lost the wickets of their three top batsmen on a score of 20. Abhishek Sharma 5, Shubman Gill 12 and captain Suryakumar Yadav were dismissed for 1 run. Tilak Verma and Sanju Samson removed India with a difficult time.
