Prashant kishor earnings: In the politics of Bihar these days, the five big leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Emperor Chaudhary, Ashok Chaudhary, Mangal Pandey, Dilip Jaiswal and Sanjay Jaiswal, who are constantly attacking the Jan Suraj Party supremo Prashant Kishore (PK), have put a complete stop over the rumors flying on their earnings and party funding. On Monday, Prashant Kishore made public the detailed information about his crores of earnings from consultancy, which has once again brought great earthquake in Bihar politics.
Fees of ₹ 241 crore and tax of ₹ 51 crore in three years
Many leaders including Sanjay Jaiswal on Prashant Kishore had raised questions about funding and shell company. To respond to these allegations, PK kept an account of his financial transactions before the second installment of allegations against Emperor Chaudhary and the third installment of the allegations against Ashok Chaudhary. Prashant Kishore said that he has charged a total fee of ₹ 241 crore in exchange for advice to political parties and corporate houses in the last three financial years (from 2021-22).
Tax paid: On this income, he has also deposited an Income Tax of ₹ 20 crore on the amount left after GST of ₹ 30.95 crore and after spending.
Donation to Jan Suraj: He has given donations to ₹ 98.75 crore Jan Suraj Party out of his earnings.
Prashant Kishore made it clear that he had not given this information earlier because of the principle of Sanatan Dharma (should not discuss donations), but he had to disclose this when the question was raised by the ‘thief leaders’.
‘Money comes from Saraswati, does not steal’
Prashant Kishore described the source of his income as ‘Dhans from Saraswati’. He said that this money comes from those people whom he helped. He said that no sand mafia, liquor mafia or corrupt people have to be taken help to create a new system in Bihar, so they have started taking fees now. PK insisted that his earnings are completely valid and he takes money from the check, not stealing. He said, “We get money from two places. One whom we advise … never took fees from anyone in life. But when Bihar started the campaign, we decided that now we will take fees because we need money for the society.”
₹ 5.50 crore per hour: Price of advice
Prashant Kishore made a shocking disclosure of his fees. He accepted the donation of ₹ 11 crore from Navayuga Construction and said that it is not a bribe money.
PK claimed: “11 crore 2 hours of advice. They have to launch a product. They wanted advice. So we said that if you donate 11 crore to the party, we will give 2 hours advice.”
Accordingly, Prashant Kishore charges ₹ 5.50 crore for one hour advice. He challenged: “This is the strength of the boy of Bihar. Do not steal. They do not take bribe. They work hard and pay fees. If even a single money is proved, the central government can get the ED and CBI checked.”
Resolve to end ‘the politics of theft’ in Bihar
Prashant Kishore announced that he has not come to earn money in Bihar, but is earning his blood and sweat. He pledged, “For the next 10 years, till the system improves, we will bring money by selling the body, but you will get the stolen politics in Bihar and will die.” This revelation of Prashant Kishore has not only answered the questions raised on his funding, but has also provided a strong foundation for his frequent attacks on NDA leaders over allegations of corruption in Bihar. It remains to be seen what the leaders of BJP and JDU retaliate at their ‘earning report’.
