Mumbai, 30 September (IANS). Adani Electricity said on Wednesday that this year it has provided 653 temporary electricity connections for Navratri and Durga pandals.
In view of the festive season, Adani Electricity Mumbai had made it easier for the process of taking temporary electricity connections for Navratri and Durga Puja pandals earlier this month.
According to its promise of safety and efficiency, Adani Electricity is providing connections within 48 hours of applying for Mumbai temporary electricity connection.
The company spokesperson said, “We are proud to say that this year we successfully provide temporary power connections to more than 653 Durga Puja/Navratri pandals across the city. Adani Electricity understands the importance of uninterrupted power supply during these holy festivals.”
The spokesperson further said, “We understand the importance of uninterrupted electricity during these festivals. Last year, we had provided continuous electricity to more than 647 Durga Puja/Navratri pandals across the city. This year, we have strengthened our work to release more connections and ensure credible supply.”
Adani Electricity has also advised not to use unauthorized extensions or direct supply, no addition in wires, not putting obstacles at the entrance of the meter cabin and not putting more weight than the approved weight.
Adani Electricity urged to use standard wires and switches for connection and allow only authorized person to enter the meter cabin.
The company said, “A firefighting should be kept near the meter cabin, which has information about the operation. The meter cabin should have a danger board.
Earlier this year, during the Ganpati festival, Adani Electricity issued around 950 temporary connections to Ganpati pandals and put over 2,571 floodlights at 167 Lord Ganesha statue immersion sites in 15 BMC wards, which ensured a safe and enjoyable experience for devotees.
