Dehradun. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday inaugurated several ambitious schemes related to urban development in the Chief Servant Sadan. He started 115 Urban Ayushman Arogya Temple in 52 municipal bodies. On the anti -copying law, Chief Minister Dhami said that I can even bow my head to protect the interests of the youth and erase myself. Chief Minister Dhami also inaugurated 15,600 new houses constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Along with this, a registration campaign for street vendors and adoption 2.0 was also launched, which aims to organize the hawkers and connect them with livelihood. Promoting cleanliness, CM Dhami flagged off 244 new vehicles for solid waste management.
The Chief Minister honored the Atal Nirmal Nagar Award to the municipal bodies who excelled in the Cleanliness Survey 2024-25. In the municipal corporation, Rudrapur got first, Pithoragarh got second and Kotdwar got third place.
At the same time, Mussoorie I, Doiwala II and Bhimtal III were in the Nagar Palika Parishad. Lalkuan won the first, Gularbhoj second and Bhikiyasain won the third prize in the Nagar Panchayat. Lansdowne I, Ranikhet II and Roorkee III were declared in the Cantonment Council.
Chief Minister Dhami said that all these initiatives will not only help in making the urban areas of the state more clean, beautiful and healthy, but will also play their important role towards improving the standard of living of citizens.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Dhami also spoke on the case of youth. He said that the government immediately took action in the case of cheating and has implemented the most anti -copy law in the country.
Accusing the opposition parties of baking political bread by melting the youth, he said, “I can even bow my head to protect the interests of the youth and erase myself.”
He said that after this law, more than 25 thousand youths have got government jobs in the last 4 years and more than 100 copy mafia have been taken behind bars.
Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, MLA Umesh Sharma, Savita Kapoor, Mayor Dehradun Saurabh Thapliyal and Mayor of various municipal bodies, secretary Nitesh Kumar Jha and Urban Development Department and Municipal Corporation officials were present on the occasion.
