The Mission Shakti 5.0 campaign under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the auspicious occasion of Navratri has given a new height to women safety, honor and self -reliance. On the call of Women and Child Development Department, girls worship programs are being organized on Ashtami-Navami dates on 30 September and 1 October in the state. More than 5 lakh girls were worshiped on the day of Ashtami. In these events, more than 1,500 girls have also been linked to the Chief Minister Kanya Sumangla Yojana.

Mission Shakti 5.0, which started on 20 September, has become a comprehensive campaign to strengthen the safety, respect and self -reliance of women and girls. Through Kanya Pujan, the Yogi government also gave a deep message to the society, under which daughters have been told as the foundation stone of family and society. In the programs organized in various districts, these programs were organized in the presence of women welfare Baby Rani Morya, Minister of State Pratibha Shukla, Minister in -charge, District Magistrate, Public Representative and Administrative Officers.
Leena Johri, Principal Secretary, Women and Child Development Department, said that Kanya Pujan is not only a ritual, but a message to the society that daughters are our power and future heritage. Mission Shakti is a resolve to make every girl safe. At the same time, Women Welfare Director Sandeep Kaur said that this ceremony will expand positive thinking towards girls.

On the day of Ashtami, more than 5 lakh girls were respected in the entire state through various departments and institutions. Through cultural presentations, folk songs and dialogue sessions, girls were motivated for education, nutrition, health and self -sufficiency.
Jyoti on the path of self -sufficiency from self -defense

The inspirational story of this campaign is Jyoti Singh of Varanasi, who has given self -defense training to more than one lakh girls and women through martial arts. Jyoti started training after obtaining a black belt in 2012 and in 2020 she got a big stage in the first phase of Mission Shakti. Today he is the third degree black belt holder and the operator of ‘Human Academy of Martial Arts’. He says that Mission Shakti has aroused confidence in women and self -defense has now become the key to life for them.
51 girls worshiped in Ayodhya
At Shivdayal Jaiswal Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College Tulsinagar, 51 girls were worshiped under the auspices of Matri Bharati. Inauguration was done by Principal Avni Kumar Shukla. After washing the feet of the girls, offering rolls, offering chunari, receiving the prasad of fruit and paid for respect with Dakshina. The operation was conducted by Acharya Urmila Shukla.
