Ayodhya, Amrit Vichar: A meeting of the district and police administration with the university was held on Wednesday in the Vivekananda Auditorium of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University regarding the world famous Deepotsav 2025. There were discussions ranging from security to discipline of volunteers and ghat arrangements. The district administration cautioned the volunteers not to share the i-card on social media or with others under any circumstances, nor to use its duplicate. Doing so may result in legal action. Along with this, distribution of I-cards to 32 thousand volunteers scheduled for Deepotsav has been started from Wednesday.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Bijendra Singh said that we all are devotees of Lord Shri Ram. Participate in the entire Manoyog Deepotsav to achieve the set goal. With everyone’s cooperation we will make the festival of lights a success. This time a target has been set to light 26 lakh 11 thousand 101 lamps. We have to show excellence to the world by demonstrating excellent time management. Shri Ram is adorable to all of us. This is a celebration of his arrival.
SP City Chakrapani Tripathi said that people should go to the ghats by means of transport provided by the institutions. At the time of lighting the lamp, wear clothes that are not susceptible to catching fire. Do not share the Deepotsav iCard with anyone and do not share it on social media also. If someone’s duplicate ID card is found, legal action will be taken against him. He told that there will be only volunteers at the ghats. Entry of others will be completely restricted.
Do not roam here and there on the ghat, inform about any suspicious person: ADM City
ADM City Yogananda said that this time’s Deepotsav is big. He cautioned the volunteers and told them not to move here and there except in their designated ghats. If you see any suspicious person or activity nearby, immediately inform the administration or your ghat in-charge. Do not rush after lighting your lamp. Do not use mobile phone at all while lighting the lamp.
Work of laying lamps will start from today: Nodal Officer
University Deepotsav Nodal Officer Prof. Sant Sharan Mishra said that 26 lakh 11 thousand 101 lamps are to be lit and dedicated to Lord Shri Ram. The university administration has started distributing I-cards to 32 thousand volunteers of the institutes. After distributing I-cards to the students of the campus from tomorrow, the volunteers will be sent to the ghat. The work of laying lamps at all the ghats will start from Thursday.
Saket College Prof. Ashok Mishra said that this work of Deepotsav is Ramkaaz. Everyone has to contribute in this which will strengthen future contributions. In the meeting, Municipal Commissioner Jayendra Kumar, Prof. Chayan Kumar Mishra, Prof. Ashutosh Sinha, Prof. Ashok Rai, Prof. Surendra Mishra, Prof. SK Raizada, Prof. KK Verma, Dr. Triloki Yadav, Dr. Anshuman Pathak, along with college and inter college principals, ghat coordinators, in-charges and a large number of volunteers were present.
