Guptkashi/Dehradun. Preparations for Chardham Yatra 2026 are in full swing. The doors of Kedarnath Dham are going to open on 22nd April. In such a situation, there is good news for the devotees traveling to Kedarnath – ticket booking for helicopter service is starting from 12 noon today (April 11).
When and how to book?
Helicopter tickets will be available only on the official website of IRCTC, heliyatra.irctc.co.in. This booking will be valid for journeys from 22 April to 15 June 2026.
Before booking tickets, it is mandatory for devotees to register on the official portal of Uttarakhand Tourism Department. Helicopter slot can be booked only after registration by logging into the IRCTC portal. Keep in mind, only a maximum of 6 tickets can be booked from one ID.
How much will the rent cost?
Helicopter service to Kedarnath is available from three places:
– Guptkashi to Kedarnath (both ways): ₹ 12,762
– Phata to Kedarnath (both ways): ₹ 10,164
– Sirsi to Kedarnath (both ways): ₹ 6,390
The administration has warned devotees to beware of cyber fraud. Do not trust any fake website, WhatsApp number or social media offer other than the official website only. Many cases of fraud have come to light earlier also.
Devotees have been appealed to fill correct information at the time of ticket booking and use only the official platform so that there is no problem.
This booking is very important for convenient and time saving helicopter service during Chardham Yatra. Interested devotees can book their slot by logging into the website from 12 noon today. The process has started.
