Ayodhya, Amrit Vichar: After Durga Puja Festival, idols will not be done in immersion rivers. The pits will be dug at the river bank or other places and immersion of statues will be done in it. The district administration has directed this effect. In the meeting, it was also told by the officers and employees of the body and others.
Durga Puja Festival is going on in the entire district. Statues have been installed everywhere. The festival will conclude on the idols Navami and the idols will be immersed in Nirmalikund on Vijay Dashami. Along with this, immersion will be done near the rivers where there are rivers. Additional District Magistrate Administration Anirudh Pratap Singh has directed that the idols will not be immersed in the rivers.
Rather, immersion will be done on the banks of rivers or elsewhere. Said that many years ago, the court had banned the immersion of the idols in rivers. In Nirmalikund, the statue immersion is arranged in the pit on the river bank, but many places are still reported where people go away in a hurry by immersing the idols in the river or solar water. Therefore, this instruction has also been issued afresh. So that S can be monitored.
Immersion of statue in rivers increases pollution in rivers. Clothes and wood are used along with soil in statues. They gather at one place somewhere. Their rot also increases pollution. It has been said that the rivers are lines. The protection of them is the responsibility of every person.
