Varanasi: After ‘Gau-Pratishtha Dharmayudh Shankhnaad’, Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati will reach Kashi from Chhattisgarh via Prayagraj on Wednesday evening. On this occasion, Sanatani public and cow devotees will give a grand welcome to Shankaracharya with shower of flowers and shouting. During Navratri, various spiritual rituals and special worship will be performed under the guidance and guidance of Shankaracharya.
On Tuesday, Shankaracharya’s media in-charge Sanjay Pandey said that on his arrival in Kashi, the devotees will welcome Shankaracharya by worshiping his Charan-Paduka at Srividyamath. Along with this, Shankaracharya ji will release ‘Sanatani Panchang’ on the occasion of New Samvatsar festival on Chaitra Navratri Pratipada (19 March).
Various religious and auspicious rituals including special worship of Goddess Bhagwati will be organized till Navratri. In this sequence, on the 20th anniversary of ‘Pratarmangalam’, on the first day of Navratri, the Batuk students will offer Arghya to the first sun of the new year and the Batuks will present various cultural and religious programs.
