Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Ganesha. On this day, devotees worship Lord Ganapati, the remover of obstacles, and pray for the removal of obstacles in life.
It is believed that by observing fast on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi and worshiping Lord Ganesha as per the rituals, one gets success in all tasks and there is happiness and peace in the house.
