Take a bath in the morning and resolve to fast. Meditate and chant mantras of Lord Shiva throughout the day. In the evening, perform Abhishekam of Shivalinga during Pradosh Kaal. Offer water, milk, belpatra, datura and flowers on Shivalinga. Worship Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. Perform Aarti after chanting Shiva mantras. After listening to the fast story, pray to Lord Shiva for happiness and prosperity.
