Varanasi: This year’s Magh Mela at Tirtharaj Prayag, the holy place of spirituality and penance, is going to be imbued with a special spiritual aura. Astrologer Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Shri Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Ji Maharaj will ceremoniously enter the Magh Mela area on Tuesday. With his arrival, a series of special religious rituals will begin in his camp situated on the banks of Sangam.
Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj will perform a special ritual of ‘Gupta Navratri’ during his stay in Prayag this year. Let it be known that Prayag is the proven area of Bhagwati Lalita Devi. Gupt Navratri has special significance from the point of view of Tantra and Shakti Sadhana. Out of the four Navratras that come in a year, two are visible and two are hidden. During the secret Navratras falling in the months of Ashadh and Magh, devotees worship Shakti secretly.
On Monday, Shankaracharya ji’s media in-charge Sanjay Pandey said that this ritual performed by Shankaracharya ji will be dedicated to the happiness and prosperity of the nation, strength of Sanatan Dharma and the spirit of public welfare. This fast and worship of Gupt Navratri in the presence of the energy of Shaktipeeth Lalita Devi on the land of Prayag will prove to be very inspiring for spiritual seekers. During this time, devotees from India and abroad will come to Prayag to have darshan of Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj and get answers to their spiritual queries from him. It is well known that at present Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj is staying in Kashi.
