Financial troubles and lack of success are often linked to Vaastu defects in our homes or workplaces. Vastu Shastra is not just the science of walls; It is a way of managing the energy around us. If you want to increase the flow of happiness, prosperity and money in your life, then these four easy changes made in Vaastu can change your luck.
1. Make North the gateway to wealth
In Vastu, the North direction is considered to be the abode of Lord Kuber (Lord of Wealth). This direction is important for career advancement and new opportunities. If the northern part of your place is filled with heavy objects, garbage or stairs, it can hinder your financial progress.
Change: Keep this area as open, clean and organized as possible. Using shades of blue here or placing images related to water (like a flowing river) is considered very auspicious.
2. Location and direction of the safe
The direction in which you keep money and jewelry determines your savings. According to Vastu, the best place for a cash box or safe is along the south or south-west wall.
Variation: Make sure the safe opens to the north. It is believed that when the door of the vault opens towards the north, the blessings of Lord Kuber remain upon you.
3. Manage water flow
In Vastu, water is related to wealth. If water flows in the wrong direction from the house, expenses increase and money cannot be accumulated.
Change: Make sure that the water drainage from the house is towards north or east. If the clearance is towards south-west, it needs to be corrected. Do not allow water to leak anywhere in the house, because a dripping tap is a symbol of wastage of money.
4. Bring positivity to the main entrance
The main entrance is the point of entry of energy. If your entrance is clean and well lit, money and opportunities will naturally be attracted to you.
Change: Never keep the main entrance dark. Place a beautifully lit lamp at the entrance and draw a Swastika or ‘auspicious’ symbol near the door. There should not be any noise while opening the door, as it brings negativity.
