Ayodhya, Amrit Vichar: The record of Saryu Aarti made last year was broken on Saturday. This time, 21 hundred maternal powers along with Sanskrit students and people of deprived society performed the Aarti of Maa Saryu on the banks of Saryu. This supernatural sight was worth seeing. Last year, 1151 people collectively performed the Aarti of Goddess Saryu and registered their names in the World Guinness Book of World Records.
This time the target was set to break the previous record and reach the figure of 2100. During Saryu Aarti, the members of the world record recording team were ready with drone cameras. This Aarti was organized on the banks of Saryu by Vashishtha Foundation with the help of District Administration and Municipal Corporation.
During this, Mayor Mahant Girishpati Tripathi, Chief Development Officer Krishna Kumar Singh, Additional District Magistrate Anirudh Singh, Municipal Corporation officials, religious leaders and elite people were present. Senior Superintendent of Police Gaurav Grover also arrived during the program.
Rajlakshmi Tiwari, Secretary of Vashishtha Foundation, played an important role in this event which was held on 18th October at 6:00 pm. He told that for the sake of arrangement, the Aarti site was divided into 11 zones. Arrangements were made for 200 participants to perform the aarti while standing in each zone of the aarti site extended from Nayaghat towards Laxman Ghat.
