The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift is expected to get cosmetic changes, updated interiors and underbody CNG tank.
The second generation Brezza is set to get a major update and has been spotted testing on the road for the first time, although the model is completely shrouded. Despite the covering, some new design changes are visible. Interestingly, the pictures have increased the discussion about the CNG setup more than the design.
The CNG sticker is visible on the back of the testing model and it is claimed that its CNG tank is placed under the vehicle instead of being kept in the boot, due to which the boot space will not be reduced at all. If this feature makes it to the production model, the 2026 Brezza will also completely solve the boot space problem like the Victoris with an underfloor CNG tank, which could give it a big edge in the market.
Talking about the design, the overall glass area looks the same as before, which means there is less chance of changing large body panels. Still, slight changes are visible in the tail lamps and new alloy wheels can also be seen. A high-mounted stop lamp along with a shark-fin antenna and spoiler are also visible above.

It is also being said that the facelifted Brezza may get Level 2 ADAS, which will make it stronger than those rivals which already offer lane support and collision avoidance technology. Although the sensors have not been seen, it is quite a possibility. It is expected that some new features will be added to the interior as well.
Maruti is not planning to make any major changes in mechanical parts. The reliable 1.5-litre K15C engine remains the same, producing 102 bhp power and 137 Nm torque. Whereas the CNG variant will also give only about 87 BHP power and 121.5 Nm torque.
No major changes are expected in the gearbox either. As before, the option of manual gearbox and 6-speed automatic will continue to be available in petrol variants. This year, Maruti had made six airbags standard in Brezza. This SUV is built on the Global C platform, which has received a four star rating in GNCAP. Now, after adding new safety features, its new model can move towards getting a 5-star rating.
