Here we are giving information about those 5 new Maruti Suzuki cars, which will be launched in India within the next 12 months.
Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch 5 new models in India in the coming time. These cars have been seen during testing in recent months. These include a new electric MPV, an SUV facelift and updated models of three popular cars of the company. They can be launched at different times during 2026 and 2027.
Firstly, the flex-fuel version of the WagonR could be launched in India as early as next month. At the same time, due to the great success achieved after the launch, Fronx is now going to get a cosmetic update. The models seen during testing reveal that changes will be made to the exterior and cabin, while the turbo petrol and naturally aspirated petrol engines will remain the same. Features like flex-fuel technology and ADAS can also be added to the updated Fronx, which will make it more attractive than its rivals.
The Baleno has not received any major updates since the launch of the second generation in 2022. However, the model seen recently during testing indicates that its facelift model is being prepared. New design elements and additional features can be seen in the cabin. The 1.2-litre petrol engine will be retained. This update will help keep the Baleno competitive against its rivals.
The boxy designed prototype spotted on Indian roads is believed to be Maruti’s upcoming 7-seater electric MPV YMC. Measuring approximately 4.5 meters long, the MPV will share many key components such as the platform and powertrain with the e Vitara. There is a possibility of getting two battery pack options in it.
It may be priced lower than the Kia Carens Clavis EV, making it an affordable option for family-oriented electric MPV buyers. It is expected to be launched in late 2026 or early 2027 and may be produced at the Gujarat plant.

It will get a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system in place of the existing 9-inch unit. Besides, connected car features will also be improved. Underbody CNG tank can be provided in CNG variant, which will increase the boot space. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of getting a new 6-speed manual gearbox in place of the existing 5-speed manual gearbox.
