The new Tata Sierra will be launched in India on November 25 and will come with many premium features including a triple screen layout.
The new teaser video starts with the first Tata Sierra of 1991, the same SUV that first introduced the concept of lifestyle vehicle in India. This new teaser video also gives a glimpse of the interior of the all-new Sierra. Its exterior has been shown in many teasers and auto shows before, but this new video shows how beautifully Tata has mixed the classic style of the old Sierra with modern design in this much-awaited SUV.
It features a 3-screen setup with a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a center touchscreen infotainment display and an additional screen on the passenger side. The dashboard design is based on Tata’s new theme, with layered materials, ambient lighting and a focus on technology. Also included are adjustable headrests for all 5 passengers, auto-dimming IRVM, premium seat upholstery and a multifunction steering wheel like other Tata SUVs.
The Sierra also gets a large panoramic sunroof, which pays homage to the iconic glass panel of the original 1991 Sierra. Tata designers have modernized the classic design of the old Sierra with a boxy shape, square wheel arches, high pillars and a straight tailgate.
You get to see many premium and modern design elements in the Sierra, including flush-fitting door handles, full-width rear LED light bar, sporty alloy wheels and integrated roof spoiler. The shark-fin antenna, bulging bonnet and muscular shoulder line add to its road presence. The soft-touch materials and metallic accents give it a premium and upmarket feel.
Tata Motors will launch the new Sierra in India on November 25, 2025, and it will be positioned between the Curve and Harrier in its SUV lineup. This SUV will initially come with an internal combustion engine as Tata’s new 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines can be introduced and after this a fully electric version will also be launched early next year.
The turbo petrol engine will generate around 168 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque, and will come with manual and automatic transmission options. The platform of the electric Sierra will probably be the same as the Harrier EV. The company will offer it with two battery options, with the larger battery pack expected to deliver a range of over 500 kilometers in real driving conditions.
