Hyundai will introduce the new generation Venue on November 4, while Tata Motors plans to introduce the new Sierra on November 25.
The month of November 2025 is going to be very special for SUV lovers in India. During this period, Hyundai’s new generation Venue and Tata’s new Sierra will be launched. Hyundai will launch its compact SUV Venue on November 4, while Tata Motors is going to launch its Sierra on November 25.
Interestingly, Tata’s approach seems to be different from its previous plan. Instead of launching the electric Sierra first, the brand will introduce petrol and diesel versions before the EV. The electric model will arrive later and is expected to have two battery configurations with a range of over 500 kilometers on a single charge. Many components of Harrier EV can be used in this.
For the ICE Sierra, Tata may bring three versions of its 1.5-litre engine, which will include a naturally aspirated petrol, a turbocharged TGDi petrol and a diesel. The new TGDi unit will generate around 168 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque and may eventually join the Harrier and Safari lineup as well. Buyers can expect both a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission as drivetrain options.
The price of Sierra will probably be between Rs 11 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) and it will compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta. Talking about the design, it has curved rear windows, large wheel arches and an upright stance that is reminiscent of its original design. Apart from this, it will also be provided with split LED headlamps, connected LED bars, 19-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, this SUV will have a triple screen layout, with separate displays for the driver, infotainment system and front passenger. The dashboard has a dual-tone finish and there is a four-spoke steering wheel with Tata logo. Other features include Harman sound system, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, powered driver seat, etc.
Meanwhile, booking for Hyundai’s new Venue has started online and at dealerships. It is coming with a wheelbase that is 48 mm higher, 30 mm wider and 20 mm longer than before. The new model features a dark chrome grille and horizontal light bar at the front adorned with quad-beam LEDs, while the rear gets a full-width LED strip and reshaped bumpers.
The interiors now feature Hyundai’s new “H-theme” design, with terrazzo-like textures and a dual-tone color combination of dark navy and dove grey. The highlight is its two 12.3-inch panoramic curved displays, which run on Hyundai’s NVIDIA-powered connected car system. It comes with over 70 connected features, over 400 voice commands in 5 Indian languages, 8-speaker Bose sound system and OTA updates for 20 car control units.
