Honda Elevate Facelift
Honda Elevate is currently the company’s only SUV in India. It was first launched in 2023. However, competition in the mid-size SUV segment has increased significantly in the last two years, the effect of which has also been seen on its sales. Keeping this in view, Honda is now working on Elevate facelift. The overall design of the new SUV will remain the same as the current model, but slight changes can be seen in the front and rear. New touches can be given to the front grille, bumper and lighting. Some new features are expected to be available in the cabin also. Like the recently updated Honda City, it can get features like ventilated front seats. Apart from this, the feature list will be further improved. Talking about the engine, the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine will continue to be available in the new Elevate.
Honda 0 Alpha EV
Honda is also preparing to launch its new 0 Alpha Electric SUV in India. The company has started its road testing and it has been seen several times during testing on Indian roads. This will be Honda’s brand new electric SUV, which has been developed on the EV platform from the beginning. Talking about design, it will have a boxy but futuristic exterior. At the same time, the cabin is expected to have a large touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital driver display, physical controls, ventilated seats, leatherette upholstery, panoramic sunroof or glass roof and many modern features.
For power, it can have 65kWh and 75kWh battery pack options with LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) technology. The company’s target is to give it a real-world driving range of about 450 to 500 kilometers on a single charge. Honda is testing this SUV in different areas and climates of the country so that its performance and reliability can be fully tested before launch.
Honda Prelude Coupe
Honda is also preparing to bring its famous Prelude Coupe in India. Like ZR-V, this will also be a premium model of the company. The Prelude will be a two-door sports hybrid coupe, which will get a hybrid system with a 2.0-litre petrol engine. This setup will generate around 200 PS of power and 315 Nm of torque. After launch, it can become Honda’s fastest and most expensive car in India. The company will present it as a Halo Product, i.e. a model that will further strengthen the premium identity of the brand. Its price is likely to be higher than Honda ZR-V.
