The Kia Carens Clavis EV HTX E is available with a 42 kWh battery pack while the HTX E [ER] Sold with a larger 51.4 kWh battery pack
Kia India has introduced two new trims in its Carens Clavis EV portfolio, HTX E and HTX E, just ahead of the festive season. [ER] Have couple. Whose price has been kept at Rs 19.99 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh respectively. This electric SUV has received a good response since its launch in the market a few months ago.
The HTX E variant comes with a 42 kWh battery pack, while the HTX E [ER] It gets a larger battery pack of 51.4 kWh which offers a range of 404 km and 490 km respectively. Positioned between the HTK+ and HTX variants, the new trims get a number of premium features like a panoramic sunroof, LED lighting for all three rows.
Other features include auto up/down power windows on each window, wireless charger and a dual-tone steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustment. On the inside, Kia has fitted leatherette seats, an air purifier with virus protection, a multi-colour ambient lighting setup with footwell illumination, seat-back folding table and solar glass.
The electric car also features modern technologies like a 26.6-inch dual panoramic display (one for the touchscreen infotainment system and the other as the driver display), 90 connected car functions and Level 2 ADAS features. It is worth noting that the 99 kW and 126 kW electric motors give a torque of 255 Nm.
Both trims support fast charging from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 39 minutes. In terms of safety, Kia has provided 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill start assist and 18 other advanced features. Kia is supporting the Carens Clavis EV with an EV ecosystem that offers over 11,000 charging points, live charger availability, route planning and over 250 EV-ready workshops across India through the K-Charge platform on the MyKia app.
Initiatives like Kia Drive Green give owners the opportunity to track CO₂ savings and contribute to digital tree planting. With these additional features, the Carens Clavis EV lineup is now available in six trims including HTK+, HTX E, HTX, HTX E [ER]htx [ER] and HTX+ [ER] Are included.
