Maruti Suzuki Victoris got 33.72 out of 34 in adult passenger safety and 41 out of 49 in child passenger safety
Maruti Suzuki’s new midsize SUV Victoris achieved 5 star safety ratings in the recently held India NCAP crash Test and now the SUV has also achieved a 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test. This means that Victoris is now one of the safest vehicles for Indian customers and will be counted among Maruti Suzuki’s safest cars so far.
In the adult passenger safety category, Victoris scored 33.72 out of 34. Crash test data showed that the safety of the driver and passenger’s head, neck and knees was consistently considered good. The driver’s chest safety received sufficient ratings, while the safety of the passenger’s chest is considered good.
Victoris has done well in the crash test. The security of the lower legs was found to be strong, the driver’s right leg (tibia) recorded a moderate effect. The most important thing is that both the car’s bodyshell and the footwell area were found “stable”, that is, the structure of the car can also bear more pressure and shaking. This SUV was also ahead in the safety of children and scored 41 out of 49, which was possible due to its strong restant systems and crash protection.
Victoris performed brilliantly about the safety of children in the crash test. In the Test, the dummy of 18 months and 3 -year -old children was placed backwards in the Britax Dualfix + Vario Base Child seat. The seat was planted with the ISOFIX anchrel and support leg. In both front and side impact tests, these seats kept the children completely safe. Victoris got a full 24/24 points in dynamic testing and 12/12 in CRS installation.
This 5-seater car also performed well in the side impact assessment. In the promotional deformable barrier test, protection for the head, stomach and pelvis was considered good, while the chest was considered sufficient. In the side pole test, all parts of the body including the head and chest received a good rating. This made it clear that Victoris is a strong body and a well safe SUV, which gives relieved protection to travelers.
In case of security aid, Victoris is equipped with many features. Standard devices include electronic stability control (ESC), seat belt reminder (SBR) for all seats, and ISOFIX ancharge for children’s seats. Victoris also has an Advance Driver Assistance System (ADAS). It has an autonomous emergency braking (AEB), which brakes itself in situations like city, highway and pedestrians. Also, it also has lane assist and speed assist systems.
