The biggest change in Brezza has been made in its engine. It has a new 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine which generates power of 110hp and torque of 170Nm. The old version’s 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 103hp power and 139Nm torque has also been continued, with the option of a CNG kit also available.

Maruti Suzuki has finally launched its 2026 Brezza. The company has fixed the starting ex-showroom price of this updated compact SUV at Rs 7.40 lakh. Many major updates have been made in this compact SUV of the company. Now it will see some minor changes in the exterior look along with new engine option, gearbox, new features. The 2026 Maruti Brezza will compete with SUVs like Hyundai Venue, Skoda Kylak, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet and Kia Ciros.

The biggest change in Brezza has been made in its engine. It has a new 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine which generates power of 110hp and torque of 170Nm. The old version’s 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 103hp power and 139Nm torque has also been continued, with the option of a CNG kit also available. However, the CNG version now gets an underbody-mounted kit like the Victoris, which saves boot space. All engine options come standard with a new 6-speed manual gearbox, while only the 1.5-litre petrol engine is offered with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Talking about the exterior, Maruti has made some minor changes in the styling of its compact SUV. Its new front look includes a newly designed grille and a dark chrome finished panel connecting the headlamps. The bumper has been slightly redesigned which includes dark chrome elements and a new look of the faux skid plate. The LED headlamps with L-shaped DRLs have been retained, but the fog lamps have been moved slightly upward and in new triangular housings. On the sides, there is new dual-tone cladding at the bottom of the doors and a new design in the 16-inch alloy wheels. Not much changes have been made in the rear of the 2026 Brezza, as it has the same tail-lamps and bumper design as before.

Some cosmetic changes have been made in the version with turbo-petrol engine, which give it a different look. These include the ‘Turbo’ badge on the tailgate, red accents on the grille, faux skid plates and wheel arches, and the ‘Turbo Boosterjet’ sticker on the rear quarter glass. Maruti has also introduced new ‘Vivicious Orange’ and ‘Lustrous Beige’ paint options. Additionally, a dual-tone finish with black roof has also been provided with these colors.

Talking about the interior, the cabin of 2026 Brezza has been given a new look. It retains the same black-and-brown theme, but new trim materials have been used and the old version’s silver trim pieces now come in a gloss black finish. The dual-tone leatherette-finished seats get updated upholstery. It also gets new HVAC switches sourced from Victoris.

Talking about the features, it has a large 10.1-inch SmartPlay Pro Additionally, it also includes features like 64-color ambient lighting, front-seat ventilation, active cooling for air purifier and wireless phone charger. For safety, Brezza now has tire pressure monitoring system, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit warning and front parking sensors. It has also received 5-star safety rating in India NCAP.
