MG Cyberster has a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery, which claims to give a range of up to 580 km on a full charge.
JSW MG Motor India through its luxury retail brand MG Select has introduced a new exterior color Irises Cyan for the Cyberster. This new shade is an attractive mix of blue and green, which makes the car’s aerodynamic body and overall design look more premium. According to the company, this color has been designed in such a way that it coordinates better with light and movement and makes its presence on the road more powerful.
Its price has been kept at Rs 74.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The design of the MG Cyberster is inspired by the past and famous MG models, most notably the MG B Roadster. Apart from Irises Cyan, MG’s Cyberster electric sportscar is also available in several dual-tone exterior color options. These include Nuclear Yellow and Flare Red, with which a contrasting black roof has been given.
Whereas, more simple colors like Andes Gray and Modern Beige have been introduced with red roof. No changes have been made in it mechanically. This all-electric convertible roadster comes with a powerful dual e-motor setup and a 77 kWh battery pack. Its special identity is also its unique scissor doors.
The interiors of the MG Cyberster get a triple-screen cockpit layout, with a 10.25-inch central display and two 7-inch screens on either side. Other key features include a power-operated soft-top roof, 20-inch alloy wheels (with Pirelli P-Zero tyres), Level 2 ADAS, Bose audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control and a 360-degree camera.
MG Cyberster has one motor at the front and one motor at the rear axle. Its powertrain produces maximum power of 510 PS and torque of 725 Nm. This electric roadster can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and its top speed is 200 km/h. It has a near 50:50 weight balance and double wishbone front suspension for better sporty handling.
The Cyberster is powered by an ultra-thin 77 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is claimed to offer a range of up to 580 km on a full charge. This electric sports car supports both AC and DC fast charging. With the help of 150 kW DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in about 40 minutes. Talking about its size, its length is 4,535 mm, width is 1,913 mm, height is 1,329 mm and wheelbase is 2,690 mm.
