The new Hyundai Venue will be launched in India on November 4 and will feature a number of updates inside and out compared to the current model
The Venue compact SUV, which is going to be launched in India on November 4, is coming with the biggest change since its entry in 2019. Its aim is to regain a strong hold in its segment. The first glimpse of the new venue was seen in South Korea. Its design has been completely revealed in the recently seen pictures.
Now its front look looks more attractive and bold than before. The new larger and wider grille is made in Hyundai’s fresh parametric design pattern. Sleek C-shaped LED DRLs are provided at the top, which give the car a modern identity, while the headlamps are placed at the bottom.
The side profile is as compact as before, but now it gets a new alloy wheel design and crease lines that give it a fresh and modern look. On the inside, Hyundai has completely changed the old interior layout and introduced a twin-screen setup, which matches its global models. Underneath the same glass panel are two 12.3-inch displays, one for the digital instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment system.
It will now support OTA (over-the-air) updates, meaning software upgrades will be available from time to time. The dashboard now has horizontal AC vents and a premium center console. Apart from this, it also gets ambient lighting, newly designed multifunction steering wheel and new seat upholstery. More safety features have now been added to the new generation Hyundai Venue, making it stronger in terms of safety.
Hyundai is now moving to Level 2 ADAS and includes features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, forward collision warning and autonomous emergency braking. However, on the inside, things will remain the same. As before, it will be available in 1.2-litre NA petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines.
Like the current model, it will have 6-speed manual, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission options. In the compact SUV segment, it will compete with the segment leader Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Mahindra XUV 3XO and other cars.
