The Royal Enfield Himalayan Mana Black Edition gets a matte black finish on the body panels and most of the visual elements.
Royal Enfield has launched the Himalayan Mana Black Edition, inspired by the Mana Pass located near the India-China border, which is priced at Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom). This area is at an altitude of more than 5,600 meters above sea level and is known for its harsh climate. The new color and special equipment package of the bike reflects the ruggedness and rugged identity of this high and natural terrain.
The most special thing is its dark theme. The body panels and most of the visual elements of the motorcycle are completely matte black finished, giving it an almost stealth-like look. This is not just a cosmetic variant, this edition also comes with factory-fitted adventure accessories, making it look even more off-roading ready as soon as it rolls out of the showroom.
Furthermore, this advanced model is based on Royal Enfield’s Sherpa 450 engine platform. It has a 451.65 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine which gives power of 39.5 PS and torque of 40 Nm. It uses ride-by-wire with electronic fuel injection and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and assist-and-slipper clutch. Its tuning focuses on strong mid-range performance, which is essential for both mountain roads and trail riding.
The chassis features a long-travel suspension setup with a steel twin-spar tubular frame. 43 mm upside-down forks are available at the front, while a linkage-type monoshock is provided at the rear. With a ground clearance of 230 mm and a wheelbase of 1,510 mm, the seat height of this motorcycle is kept at the same 860 mm as the standard model.
Its key hardware elements include black Rally hand-guards, dual Rally seat, tall Rally mudguard and wire-spoke tubeless wheels. For braking, 320 mm discs have been provided at the front and 270 mm discs at the rear, which are supported by switchable dual-channel ABS. It has 21 inch tires at the front and 17 inch tires at the rear.
Technically, the motorcycle features a four-inch round TFT display with built-in navigation, ride modes, media controls and a USB Type-C charging port powered by Google Maps. It also gets all-LED lighting as standard with circular LED headlamps and LED indicators.
