Tata Motors records highest ever festive season sales with 61,295 units across domestic and international markets
Tata Motors has achieved a new milestone in October 2025 as it recorded its highest ever festive season sales with 61,295 units across the domestic and international markets. Which is a huge increase of 27 percent compared to 48,423 units in the same period last year. The company has touched a new record sales figure for the second consecutive month.
The main reason behind these excellent results has been the increased shopping sentiment and enthusiasm of people during festivals. SUVs have once again made the biggest contribution to the sales of Tata Motors. More than 47,000 SUVs were sold, accounting for about 77 per cent of total sales. Nexon achieved a massive growth of 50 per cent compared to last year and further strengthened its position as India’s most loved compact SUV.
The Harrier and Safari models also sold well with more than 7,000 units sold together. The popularity of the Adventure X variant and the increasing demand for the new Harrier EV contributed significantly to this. Tata’s electric vehicle division also performed brilliantly and recorded its best ever month with sales of 9,286 units, which is 73 per cent higher than last year.

The rising demand for Nexon EV, Punch EV and Tiago EV further strengthened this rally. The buying enthusiasm of people during the festive season was also reflected in retail sales and more than one lakh vehicles were delivered between Navratri and Diwali, which is 33 percent more than last year.
According to the brand, October saw record levels of bookings across both the ICE and EV portfolio. Tata is all set to introduce the new generation Sierra in ICE variant later this month, while the electric avatar is also due to arrive in early 2026. It will be loaded with many features and technologies and will be kept above the curve.
The Sierra EV will be available in two battery options and has a claimed driving range of over 500 km on a single charge. Its equipment list will include a triple screen layout with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, all-digital instrument console and front passenger side display, Level 2 ADAS suite, connected technology, ventilated and powered seats, etc.
