Tata Motors has given every player of the winning Indian CWC team a chance to choose the Tata Sierra car of his choice.
To celebrate India’s historic victory in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, Tata Motors has taken a special initiative. The company has announced to gift a brand new Tata Sierra to every player of the winning Indian team, in which each player can choose the variant of his choice. This announcement was made after the team won the title and a special ceremony was also organized in the presence of the players along with Sierra, who recently returned in a new avatar.
On this occasion, N., Chairman of Tata Sons and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited. Chandrasekaran and Shailesh Chandra, managing director and CEO of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, were also present. The World Cup victory of the Indian women’s team is being considered as a big turning point for women’s cricket in the country. This win comes at a time when Tata Sierra has re-entered the Indian market and its bookings have officially started.
Positioned above the curve in Tata’s SUV line-up, the Sierra is priced between Rs 11.49 lakh and Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested customers can book it through dealerships or online platforms by paying a token amount of Rs 21,000, while its deliveries are expected to start from mid-January 2026. Sierra has been introduced in several variants like Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+ and top-spec Accomplished and Accomplished+.
The new Tata Sierra has been built on the company’s new ARGOS platform. In terms of design, this SUV offers a good combination of old-fashioned looks and modern style. It has features like sharp LED headlamps, full-width light bar and dual-tone alloy wheels.
Engine options include a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 106 PS of power and 145 Nm of torque, while the turbo petrol version generates 160 PS of power and 255 Nm of torque. Apart from this, the 1.5 liter diesel engine gives power of 120 PS and torque of up to 280 Nm. For transmission, it has the option of 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter automatic and dual-clutch automatic.
Talking about the features, Tata Sierra has a triple-screen dashboard layout, which includes digital instrument cluster, central infotainment screen and a separate display for the passenger. Apart from this, it also has dash-mounted soundbar with JBL sound system, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, powered tailgate, wireless charging and level-2 ADAS with more than 20 safety features.
