The Triumph Tracker 400 is powered by an updated TR-series 350 cc engine that produces 40 PS of power at 8,750 rpm, just like the Thruxton 400.
Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the new Tracker 400 bike in the country at a price of Rs 2.46 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Although it does not have a 398cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, instead it has a new TR-series 350cc engine, which gives power of 39.5 bhp at 8750 rpm. The global debut of the Tracker 400 took place in the UK in December last year. It is inspired by flat-track racing and is the sixth model in Triumph’s 400cc portfolio, which includes the Triumph Speed 400, Triumph Scrambler 400 X, Scrambler 400 XC, Triumph Thruxton 400 and the Speed T4.
The Tracker 400 has a flat and wide handlebar, re-positioned footpegs and a special chassis for better handling. Its design highlights include colour-coded seat cowls, number board, boxy fuel tank, sculpted knee cut-outs, fly screen and new dual-spoke wheels shod with MRF REVZ FD1 tyres. The ‘400’ branding on the side panels reflects its flat-track racing heritage.

This bike is available in three color options Racing Yellow, Phantom Black and Aluminum Silver Gloss. Its design comes with classic Triumph style and racing inspired look. The ‘Tracker’ branding on the fuel tank, racing stripes and mud-splatter design make it special.
For suspension, it has 43 mm USD front forks and rear gas monoshock, both of which have 140 mm travel. Its seat height is 805 mm. Features include torque-assist clutch, switchable traction control, digital tachometer with analog speedometer and ABS.
The global model has a 398 cc engine, which produces 41.4 bhp power and 37.5 Nm torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Whereas in India it has been brought with 350 cc engine so that the price can be kept low due to low GST.
