New TVS Raider 125 is India’s first 125 cc motorcycle with boost mode, dual disc brake and glide through technology (GTT)
The TVS Motor Company has launched the updated TVS raider 125 in the Indian market. This sporty commuter motorcycle with a starting price of Rs 93,800 (ex-showroom) is available in two variants, TFT dual discs and Smartxonnect dual discs. The price of the top-spec Tft Dual Disk version is priced at Rs 95,600 (ex-showroom).
Many new features have been added to the new TVS Raider 125. The specialty of the new model is dual disc brakes with single-channel ABS, which will help improve overall braking response. Significantly, this is the first feature given in this segment. In addition, the raider 125 now has a boost mode with the iGE Assist, which enables the bike to extend expedited by giving power delivery immediately.
The bike continues to use GTT (Glide Through Technology), which helps the rider to tackle traffic by easily driving the bike without constant throttle. GTT ensures a problem-free riding experience along with improving mileage. The Follow Me headlamp in the raider 125 is also a new feature, which keeps the light on even after the ignition is closed.
The 2025 TVS Raider 125 is powered by a 125 cc single-cylinder air-cooled three-wall engine, which gives 11.75 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm and is connected to a 5-speed gearbox. Large changes include a new wide tires with 90/90–17 in the motorcycle and 110/80–17 at the back.
This is likely to improve the grip of this two -wheeler. There is no change in the texture of the raider 125, although in the update it is introduced with metallic silver bodywork and red colored front alloy wheels. To diversify line-ups, TVS is offering two connected display options.
You can choose a full TFT instrument cluster with more than 99 features or one of the reverse LCD unit with more than 85 features. It is worth noting that both variants will have TVS Smartxonnect technology, which enables smartphone connectivity through Bluetooth and gives features such as voice assist, call and SMS alert, turn-by-turn navigation, etc.
