A new sedan has entered the sedan segment of the country’s car sector, which has been introduced by German automaker Volkswagen and this sedan has been named Volkswagen Virtus.
After introducing it in India on March 8, Volkswagen will officially launch this sedan in May and after which it will be sent to dealerships for sale.
The company has not made any official announcement regarding the pre-booking of this car, but it is believed that after introducing this car, the company will start its pre-booking even before its launch.
Volkswagen has launched this new sedan in the Indian market, replacing its old Volkswagen Vento.
The company has built this sedan on the MQB AO platform on which the Skoda Slavia has been built.
The most important in the design features and specification of this sedan, the company has made the wheelbase of the car, due to which it is the only car in the sedan segment to get such a long wheelbase.
In which a wheelbase of 2651 mm has been given, with which its length has been given 4541 mm, width is given 1487 mm.
Talking about the exterior, the company has given an attractively designed chrome slate grille in its front along with L shape LED DLL, projector headlamps.

Talking about the engine of this sedan, the company has given the option of two engines in it, in which the first engine is the 1.0 liter capacity TSI engine with the option of 6 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter transmission.

The second engine is a 1.5-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
