Kochi, 21 September (). There has been a wave of happiness among his fans since the announcement of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal honoring Dadasaheb Phalke Award. After this announcement, Mohanlal reached his house in Kochi to seek the blessings of Maa. He also addressed the media at Kochi Airport.
Actor Mohanlal landed at Nedumbasari Airport in Kochi and reached his residence ‘Shri Ganesh’ directly at Rajiv Nagar Road, Almakara. There he met his mother Shantakumari Amma and took his blessings before going to his flat in Kundanur.
Talking the media at the airport, Mohanlal said, “This honor is not just mine, this is the honor of Malayalam cinema. I dedicate this award to the industry who shaped me and those who supported me in this 48 -year journey.
During this, Mohanlal became emotional. He expressed gratitude to God, his parents, his country and the committee who chose him for this award.
Mohanlal said, “This is the greatest joy of my life. I thank God, my fans, my parents and everything in this country. I remember the love and prayers of all those people who lived with me in these years. This will encourage the next generation to dream and work hard.
Mohanlal, who has won the National Film Award for Best Actor twice, has been entertaining the audience for four and a half decades. From Malayalam to Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films, he has seen his light. Mohanlal has worked in more than 400 films in his career
Mohanlal’s unique versatility and tireless dedication has set a golden criteria in the history of Indian cinema. Therefore, he is being awarded the highest award of cinema. The award will be presented at the 71st National Film Awards ceremony on 23 September.
