In fact, the husband had initially claimed that his wife had an affair with a man before marriage and was in touch with him even after marriage. “I didn’t want to be called a ‘blueprint,’ so I forced my wife to marry her boyfriend.” Now the wife says, “I love only my husband. I don’t have any boyfriend. My husband forced me to marry my brother because he himself was having an affair with another woman.”
This incident took place in Purva Sidurva village of Dina under Kamrauli police station area. Shivshankar Prajapati, a resident of the village, married Uma Prajapati, a resident of Raniganj North village of the same police station area, on March 2, 2025. After marriage, Uma Prajapati returned to her in-laws’ house. Her husband claimed that his wife had not forgotten her ex-lover even after marriage. After this he separated from the relationship. She said that he had arranged her marriage with her ex-lover. She also said that recent news about wives had frightened her, and that she had arranged her marriage with her lover.
Wife accused the police
Accusing her husband and the police, wife Uma Prajapati said, “The one who is being called my lover is my brother. My husband and the police have forcefully got me married. Now the situation has worsened. The wife said that she wants to live with her husband, but he is having an affair with another woman.
Allegation against alleged lover also
The woman’s alleged lover Vishal said that the police forcibly kidnapped her and forced her to marry him. Vishal also alleged that the police even attacked him.
The police has given this clarification in this matter.
Police station in-charge Mukesh said, “The girl happily married her boyfriend. She has also given an affidavit in this regard. Whatever allegations she is making now are completely false.”
