Ayodhya, July 12 (). Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra, while emphasizing the need to further strengthen the temple system after the donation controversy, said that the appointment of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the Ram Mandir will add a new link to the existing system. He expressed confidence that the main objective of the new system will be to protect the interests of the devotees and that the devotees have faith in the temple system.
In an exclusive interview to , Nripendra Mishra said that the time has come to further strengthen the system to prevent recurrence of incidents like the recent donation controversy.
Question: What impact has the donation controversy had on the devotees and donations coming to Ram Temple?
Nripendra Mishra: No estimate of the amount of donation is available. But from the feedback I have received from the devotees whom I have personally spoken to, it is clear that their focus is only on the darshan and worship of Lord Shri Ram. They will continue to visit the temple in large numbers as before.
He told that the number of devotees is continuously increasing on Saturday and Sunday. A large number of devotees are also reaching Hanumangarhi. Lord Shri Ram is the center of our culture and religious faith and devotees are worshiping him like before.
Question: What changes will be seen in the management of Ram Temple after the appointment of CEO?
Nripendra Mishra: The CEO will oversee the overall administrative and financial affairs of the temple. They will work as per the advice of the General Secretary and the instructions of the Temple Trust.
He said that the CEO will be an additional link in the existing system. No changes are being made in the current administrative structure. The temple trust is the supreme body and all its decisions will be final.
Question: Will there be any change in the facilities for devotees after the appointment of the CEO?
Nripendra Mishra: The entire administration of Ram temple should be run keeping the devotees at the center. Even at present, all the arrangements of the temple are being made keeping the devotees in mind. The temple exists for the devotees and their convenience and interest should have top priority in every decision.
He said that we wish for the progress of the country and the welfare of all citizens. It is a prayer to Lord Shri Ram to provide more prosperity to the nation and welfare of all the citizens.
Question: What is the current status of construction work in the Ram Mandir complex?
Nripendra Mishra: The temple project has now reached the final stage. Only two major tasks remain. The first work is related to the old temple and its monuments. Most of the construction work has been completed, only the arrangements for the Akhand Jyoti to burn 24 hours are left.
He told that the second work is the construction of the memorial, which will be completed by the end of July. His hope is that all the remaining construction work of the temple complex will be completed by August 15.
