Akshay Oberoi 2014: Actor Akshay Oberoi is all set to surprise the audience with one of the most powerful and intense characters of his career in his upcoming film 2014. In this film, he is playing the role of a villain who is connected to a dark and morally complex world.
Akshay, known for playing different types of characters, has tried to deeply understand the mentality of his character for this emotional story.
The actor underwent extensive preparation for this role, both physically and mentally. He conducted extensive studies to understand the psychology of radicalization, anger, ideological influence and broken beliefs. Akshay believed that it was not possible to play the character on a superficial level, so he spent several months studying real-life behaviour, emotional reactions and the internal conflicts that often lead to violence and extremism.
This character required not only physical transformation but also a difficult emotional journey. He had to understand how anger, fear, influence by others, and false beliefs can change a person’s thinking and morality. According to sources associated with the film, Akshay worked hard on his body language, controlling emotions and the mental nuances of the character, so that the role looked completely real and impressive.
Talking about his experience, Akshay Oberoi said, “Honestly, ‘2014’ has been one of the most emotionally challenging experiences of my career. Playing a villain is not just about looking scary or being aggressive on screen. I really wanted to understand what drives a person towards darkness. What kind of emotional hurt, anger, loneliness, ideological influences or circumstances shape his decisions. I studied a lot about the psychology of conflict and the emotional impact of such an environment. It was important for me to capture the complexity of these characters who never see themselves as villains.
He further added, “Physically, I also had to prepare a lot because there is a certain intensity and unpredictability that comes with this character. But more than the physical exertion, it was a very exhausting experience mentally, because during the preparation you have to constantly be in a disturbed and unstable emotional state. As an actor, such characters challenge you deeply because they force you to face some uncomfortable truths of human nature. This role pushed me far beyond my comfort zone and perhaps That’s why I wanted to do it.”
