Jaipur. The roads of Jaipur became witness to a terrible accident on Friday night at around 9:30 pm. A speeding Audi car targeted people standing on the road and cart vendors at Kharabas Circle in Journalist Colony. After hitting the divider, the car became completely out of control and went on hitting the carts and carts standing on the roadside for about 30 meters. 16 people were injured in the accident, out of which eight were admitted to Jaipuria Hospital, four were taken to a private hospital, and the remaining four were taken home by their relatives. SHO of Muhana police station Gurubhupendra Singh said, “After hitting the divider at 9:30 pm, the Audi lost control and caused havoc by hitting the people standing on the roadside and the cart up to 30 meters. Police have seized the Audi car and strict action is being taken against the driver.”
