New Delhi, March 8 (). International Women’s Day is being celebrated across the world on 8 March. On this occasion, Australian High Commissioner to India Philip Green OM highlighted the participation of women in the partnership between India and Australia.
Australian High Commissioner Philip Green OM shared a video on the social media platform X, in which he identified the women working in the Australian High Commission. Along with this, an Indian song has also been added to that video. Along with the video, Philip wrote in the caption, “Proud to work with the amazing women of the Australian High Commission, who are working to advance the Australia-India partnership. This International Women’s Day, meet the trailblazing women of the Australian High Commission, who are changemakers and proud representatives of modern Australia.”
Chinese Ambassador to India Xu Feihong extended his Women’s Day greetings and said, “My wife today attended the Lanting Culture Salon, jointly hosted by the Chinese Embassy and the Russian Center of Science and Culture, on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Together with friends from BRICS countries and Indian university students, she admired the beauty of Chinese calligraphy and shared happy moments of friendship between China, India and Russia.”
Taiwan ROC President Lai Ching Teh wrote, “A society where women can shine is a better society for all. Here in Taiwan, we will continue to create a shining future full of opportunities for every woman and girl to fulfill their hopes. Happy International Women’s Day!”
The Indian Embassy in Japan shared pictures of International Women’s Day and wrote, “Glimpses of the Saree Draping Workshop organized by the Embassy of India in Tokyo on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Japanese participants learned about the beauty of the saree and the art of wearing this timeless Indian fabric.”
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Russian President Vladimir Putin met women serving the country – women in the Russian Army, doctors, war reporters, artists and professionals from across the country. Russia’s Foreign Ministry posted a video of the meeting, writing, “Ahead of March 8, Russian President Vladimir Putin met in the Kremlin with women serving the Motherland on the front lines and beyond, military personnel, doctors, war reporters, artists and professionals from across the country.”
Let us tell you, the Russian President met these women and gave them a bouquet of flowers and posed for photographs together. Apart from this, the Indian Embassy in Shanghai also celebrated International Women’s Day.
