Banaskantha horrific accident: 7 people from Rajasthan (Pali-Sirohi) died on the spot, 3 injured, case registered against truck driver

Banaskantha/Pali. It is said that a person on a journey always keeps the hope of returning home, but on Saturday, death loomed on the Palanpur-Abu Highway to such an extent that the journey of seven lives came to a halt forever even before reaching home. A shocking accident that took place in Banaskantha, Gujarat extinguished the lamp of seven families of Pali and Sirohi districts of Rajasthan. Happiness became a ‘heap of iron’ in one stroke. When the white colored Innova was moving towards its destination near Iqbalgarh, no one had thought that a truck coming from the wrong side was coming in the form of ‘Kaal’. The collision was so severe that the vehicle, which was considered strong, collapsed like a paper boat. The scene after the accident was such that even a stone heart would melt. The vehicle had been destroyed and the bodies of the loved ones were so stuck between the iron sheets that it took hours of effort to remove them.
The wait for my loved ones is now a lifetime.
Among those who died, some were the sole breadwinner of their family, while others were dreaming of the future with their spouse. Prakash Kalawant, who had left Falna in a car, was probably about to return home and meet his children. Now only their memories are left with Mohammad Hussain and his wife Jinnat. Today the stoves are not lit in Shivganj, Pindwara and Abu Road of Sirohi; There is only the noise of sobs and screams.
Negligence took the lives
The preliminary investigation of the police is shouting that this is not just an ‘accident’, but the carelessness of the truck driver which often destroys the houses of others. A truck running on the wrong side took the lives of seven people whose only fault was that they were on that road at that time.
Question of silent streets
The five kilometer long traffic jam on the highway has been cleared, but no police report or compensation will be able to fill the void left in the hearts of those families. The injured are breathing in the hospital, and the whole of Rajasthan is praying for their safety.
Waiting for your loved ones is more precious than the thrill of speed on the roads. One small carelessness of someone extinguished seven lamps today. May God give peace to the souls of the deceased and strength to the affected families to bear this loss.
