Bayana (Bharatpur) On the occasion of the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, a tribute meeting was organized on Friday at the City Congress office located in Supa Market, Bayana. During this, Congress officials and workers paid tribute to Gandhiji by garlanding his portrait.
The program of remembrance started by offering floral tributes. Congress District President Dinesh Supa, City Congress President Omprakash Gupta and District Vice President Manoj Patel started the program by offering flowers on the picture of Mahatma Gandhi. After this, all the workers present paid tribute to Bapu by keeping silence for two minutes.

Addressing the tribute meeting, the leaders highlighted Bapu’s life character and his unique contribution to the Indian freedom struggle. The speakers said:
Gandhiji gave independence to the country by following the path of truth and non-violence.
His ideals are still a source of inspiration for the whole world.
