In earnest. There is a relief news for thousands of passengers of Bayana area of Bharatpur district. A modern and hi-tech bus stand will soon be constructed near Harnagar village on Bayana-Wair Road. The project will cost around Rs 1 crore and will be constructed by the Rajasthan State Agricultural Marketing Board. 7 thousand square yards of land has already been identified for the bus stand. As per the proposed map, the complex has been designed keeping in mind the convenience, safety and streamlined operations of the passengers. Chief Manager of Bharatpur Agar, Shakti Singh said that the budget for the project has been approved and construction work will be started soon. Business activities will get a boost. Food shops, tea-snack stalls and other shops of essential goods can be operated in the new bus stand complex. This will not only provide convenience to the passengers but will also provide employment opportunities to the local people. A wide corridor will also be built for easy movement in the entire complex. The bus stand will be equipped with modern facilities. A huge waiting hall will be built on the ground floor, where a large number of passengers will be able to sit comfortably. Systematic platforms and sheds will be constructed for the movement of buses, which will provide respite from the sun and rain to the passengers. Inquiry Center and Administrative Block: For the convenience of the passengers, an inquiry centre, cash/store room and an administrative block will also be built for the smooth operation of the stand. These routes will get direct benefits. With the construction of a new bus stand, traffic on Bayana-Wair Road will be easier. Bus services will be available from here to many major routes including Dholpur, Jaipur, Hindaun-Karauli, Alwar and Bharatpur. Special focus on cleanliness and safety Separate modern toilets for women and men will be built in the complex. Water coolers with cold water will be installed for the convenience of passengers. For security reasons, CCTV cameras will be installed in the entire bus stand premises, so that a safe environment can be ensured especially for women and children.
