The matter of destroying the valuable properties of Upasara Yati Shri Kesari Chand Property Trust (Shantinath Jain Temple) located at Sanganeri Gate in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, on the basis of fake documents, has now taken a big turn. Seeing the possibility of criminal conspiracy in this entire episode, the district administration has officially handed over the investigation to District Superintendent of Police (SP) Dharmendra Singh Yadav.
Strict instructions from Collector: Police will investigate forgery
District Collector Jasmeet Singh Sandhu has taken the memorandum given by hundreds of people of Jain community on Saturday very seriously. Additional District Collector (City) Pratibha Deothia said that considering the sensitivity of the matter and the illegal sale of property worth crores, the District Collector himself took cognizance and has written a letter to the Superintendent of Police directing him to get to the bottom of the matter. Now the special team of police will investigate who is the mastermind of this organized land mafia gang.
Forensic investigation will be done on forgery in the name of a person who died 80 years ago
The main focus of the police investigation is the fraud in which fake Aadhaar card, PAN card and bank account were prepared in the name of Shri Kesar Chand Guru Jadav Chand (who died 70-80 years ago). The police will investigate the technical aspect as to how the registry of two bighas of 04 Biswa valuable agricultural land at Suwana was possible using the identity of the deceased. The police will also call for records from the sub-registrar office to find out on the basis of which documents the account holding rights were transferred.
Absconding witness on police radar and fraudster disguised as ‘sadhu’
Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Paras Jain has clarified that this is not just a land dispute but a big fraud. The police have now started searching for the absconding accused who carried out this fake registry. This includes registry witness Ramkaran Jat and the person who sold the land by posing as a fake sadhu. The statements given by the buyer Munna Mohammad to the police are also being verified, who, seeing himself trapped, told the police about a deal worth Rs 82 lakh.
Keep an eye on the security of the trust’s movable and immovable property and jewellery.
Other properties of the Trust will also be under the purview of police investigation on which illegal occupation or fake leases have been made. Besides, the police will also gather information about 40-50 kg of gold and silver jewelery of the trust kept safe in the District Treasury Office and the role of the receiver committee appointed since 1988. The administration wants to ensure that the religious trust properties are freed from the clutches of land mafia.
The police have asked the officials in a strict tone to register a formal case immediately so that action can be taken against the accused under non-bailable sections and their arrest can be ensured.
