If you are thinking of buying a new electric car in view of the rising prices of petrol and diesel, then May 2026 can be a great opportunity for you. Recently, information about discounts available on petrol and diesel (ICE) cars of Tata Motors has come to light. Now, the company has also announced huge discounts on its electric vehicle (EV) portfolio. The special thing is that now customers have the opportunity to make huge savings of up to ₹ 3.8 lakh on select models. Tata’s EV range includes Nexon EV, Harrier EV, Tiago EV, Punch EV and Curv EV. The company is offering discounts based on specific models and their respective production years (MY24, MY25 and MY26). These offers include exchange bonus, scrappage bonus, loyalty bonus and other benefits.
Discount of up to ₹ 1.2 lakh on Nexon EV

This offer includes a ‘Green Bonus’ of ₹20,000, an Exchange Bonus of ₹50,000 or a Scrappage Bonus of ₹55,000. Additionally, customers may also be entitled to a loyalty bonus of up to ₹50,000. Tata is offering discounts of up to ₹1.5 lakh on its flagship electric SUV, Harrier EV. This offer is applicable on both MY25 and MY26 models. Although this special offer does not include a ‘Green Bonus’, customers will get an exchange bonus of ₹50,000 or a scrappage bonus of ₹75,000. Additionally, those switching from one EV to another will get a loyalty bonus of ₹1 lakh, while those switching from an ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) car to an EV will get a loyalty bonus of ₹50,000. A unique feature of the Harrier EV is that it has been given an ‘intervention bonus’ of ₹ 50,000, which makes it different from other models.
