Important talks are going to take place between America and Iran on ceasefire on Saturday. According to Reuters, this talk will be held in the luxurious Hotel Serena in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad. For this, the American delegation will reach Islamabad today i.e. on Friday, while the Iranian delegation has already reached.
Vice President JD Vance will lead the team from America’s side in this meeting. It will also include America’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. According to Iranian media, Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf will represent his country. This conversation is considered important for the further peace process. Before this big event, the Government of Pakistan has announced a two-day holiday in Islamabad.
Earlier, the US Army had claimed that Iran had suffered losses in the war. America says it has carried out more than 13,000 attacks on Iranian targets. At present the attacks have been stopped due to the ceasefire, but the American army is present in the area and can take action if needed.
Demand to give Nobel to Pakistani PM
A proposal has been presented in Pakistan’s Punjab Assembly to nominate Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar for the Nobel Peace Prize. PML-N MLA Rana Muhammad Arshad moved the resolution. It has been said that it was due to the mediation of the leaders of Pakistan that a two-week ceasefire was reached between America and Iran and this paved the way for peace and stability in the region.
