Innovations in digital policing praised
Jaipur. State Chief Secretary V. Srinivas along with DGP Rajiv Kumar Sharma visited Mansarovar Police Station in Jaipur on Sunday and observed the modern methodology of policing and digital innovations. During the visit, the Chief Secretary took information about various digital systems including e-FIR, e-evidence, e-summons, app-based monitoring of cyber crimes and crimes against women operated at the police station level. After inspection, he praised Mansarovar Police Station by calling it a completely digital “model police station” of Rajasthan.
The Chief Secretary said that Mansarovar police station is an excellent example of police reforms towards digital transformation. Congratulating the leadership of Rajasthan Police, he said that effective use of technology has given a new impetus to transparency, prompt service and citizen-centric policing.
He congratulated Director General of Police Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Jaipur Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal, Inspector General of Police Rahul Prakash and the leadership team of Rajasthan Police for successfully implementing digital police reforms. And took food in the police mess with the personnel and officers.
At the end of the visit, the Chief Secretary expressed confidence that such innovations will continuously improve the quality of law and order and civil services in the state.
