China calls Iran-US talks in Pakistan a positive step, expresses hope to continue ceasefire

New Delhi . The talks between Iran and America regarding ceasefire in Pakistan did not yield any result. However, China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun described the talks as a positive step towards reducing tensions. China expressed hope that the ceasefire between the two sides will continue. The Chinese Foreign Ministry wrote on social media platform Along with this, China congratulated Peter Magyar and his Tisza Party on their decisive victory in the Hungarian parliamentary elections. The Chinese Foreign Ministry wrote, “China congratulates Peter Magyar’s Tisza Party on its election victory in Hungary. China attaches great importance to its relations with Hungary and stands ready to work with the new Hungarian government on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, to enhance high-level dialogue and mutual political trust, enhance practical cooperation and people-to-people contact, and bring greater benefits to the people of the two countries.”
Speaker of Iran’s Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that the only way out of the current situation is for the United States to make its own decision and gain the confidence of the Iranian nation.
He made the remarks while addressing reporters while returning to Iran from his visit to Pakistan, where he had participated in peace talks with the US delegation along with the accompanying delegation.
Ghalibaf said, “If they fight, we will also fight and if they come forward with logic, we will respond with logic. We will not bow down to any threat. They can test our willpower once again and we will teach them a bigger lesson.”
