Chittorgarh. A proud news has emerged from Chittorgarh for the sports world of Rajasthan. In the All India Inter University Beach Wrestling Championship 2025-26 held in Chennai, wrestler Lokesh Gurjar of the local Balaji Training Institute has won the gold medal by proving his talent.
Lokesh had participated in the 80 plus (80+) weight category in this national level competition organized from March 7 to 9, hosted by Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai. On the basis of hard struggle and technical skills, he won the gold medal by winning the final match. Rajasthan’s only gold winner
Basanti Lal Pancholi, Treasurer of Balaji Training Institute proudly stated that:
Lokesh Gurjar was the only wrestler from Rajasthan to get a gold medal in this championship.
