Bharatpur. A deep controversy has arisen regarding the leadership in the Bharatpur unit of Khandelwal Vaishya Maha Samiti. Today, in the meeting held under the chairmanship of Bharatpur unit president Ramesh Chandra Gupta at Khandelwal Bhawan, Khirni Ghat, the distinguished brothers of the society rejected the declaration of Shyam Tambolia as the district president in the Kumher meeting, calling it illegal and unethical.
Expressing serious concern, the members present in the meeting said that about 1700 families of the society reside in Bharatpur and Deeg districts together, out of which more than half of the families live in Bharatpur city alone. Despite this, “some certain and self-proclaimed brothers” of the society recently organized a district meeting in Kumher, in which only presidents and general secretaries of 9 out of 14 units including Bharatpur were present. The members alleged that out of 180 people in the invite list, only 18 brothers were present. Declaring Shyam Tambolia as Bharatpur-Deeg District President in such a small minority meeting is not only illegal but also illegal. It was unanimously announced in the meeting that this alleged election has not received the approval of the presidents, general ministers and required people of 9 units including Bharatpur unit, hence this election is completely rejected.
The committee has decided that a decision on this issue will be taken in the district meeting to be held on 21st December and the leadership will be elected as per proper procedure. In this meeting, Bharatpur unit president Ramesh Chandra Gupta along with Anil Lohia, Prahlad Khandelwal, Suresh Methi, Harishankar Musaddi, Banwari Lal Sikri Wale, Manoj Methi, Rajesh Musaddi, Narendra Khandelwal, Subhash Lohia, Santosh Khandelwal, Murari Lal Khandelwal and other prominent members were present.
