Samastipur . Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Samastipur on Thursday as part of his Samriddhi Yatra, where he took stock of various schemes. During this period he gifted 188 schemes to the district. CM Nitish Kumar laid the foundation stone of 71 schemes worth Rs 470 crore, inaugurated 74 schemes worth Rs 273 crore and launched 43 schemes worth Rs 84 crore for the district through remote in the premises of the Government Engineering College here. He inspected the premises of Government Engineering College, Samastipur located at Sarayaranjan and also interacted with the students and teachers studying in the class. During this, he asked the students to assimilate new modern technologies and knowledge properly and move ahead in life. After this the Chief Minister reached the Language Laboratory, where the teachers told that various international languages ​​are taught to the children here. He inspected the local startup, innovation stalls and stalls set up by various departments in the campus.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister saw the products manufactured by Jeevika Didis and praised them. Praising all the Jeevika Didis, he said that you all are working well. We want you people to move forward, the government is providing all possible help. In this sequence, he presented a symbolic check of Rs 437 crore to 23 thousand 472 Jeevika Didis associated with self-help groups.
CM Nitish Kumar also interacted with the beneficiaries of Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme present there. He also inspected the stall set up by Borlaug Institute for South Asia, Samastipur and took information about new technologies and agricultural products. Also saw the model of multiple crop farming being done by the Agriculture Department in Samastipur. He also instructed the present officers to market the products of small entrepreneurs here, which will promote both local products and the local market.
He inspected various ongoing schemes including RCC bridge cum bypass road under construction in Hakimabad block of Samastipur district and inquired about the progress of other developmental schemes. During this, the Chief Minister directed the officials to complete the work expeditiously. During the program, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Water Resources cum Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit and other senior officials, public representatives and dignitaries were present.
