Lucknow, July 19 (). Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be on a tour of Barabanki district on Monday (July 20). During this period, he will gift 82 development projects costing more than Rs 542 crore to the district. The Chief Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various projects in Ramnagar and Daryabad assembly constituencies.
The main program of the Chief Minister will be organized in the courtyard behind Lodheshwar Mahadev Temple located in Ramnagar. From here he will launch development projects of both the assembly constituencies.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate 14 projects costing more than Rs 104 crore in Ramnagar assembly constituency, while laying the foundation stone of 22 new projects worth more than Rs 178 crore.
Whereas in Daryabad assembly constituency, 12 projects worth more than Rs 29 crore will be inaugurated and foundation stone of 34 projects worth more than Rs 231 crore will be laid.
Thus, work on a total of 82 projects will start or be inaugurated in both the assembly constituencies, the total cost of which is more than Rs 542 crore.
Many public representatives including Minister of State for Prisons Suresh Rahi, Minister of State for Food and Logistics and Civil Supplies Satish Chandra Sharma, District Panchayat Administrator Rajrani Rawat, Legislative Council Member Angad Kumar Singh, Engineers Avnish Kumar Singh and Umesh Dwivedi, MLA Sakendra Pratap Verma (Chair), Dinesh Rawat (Haidergarh), Ramchandra Yadav (Rudauli) and Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Scheduled Castes and Tribes Commission Baijnath Rawat will be present in the program.
Earlier on Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the new building of Uttar Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) headquarters. Along with inaugurating this state-of-the-art building built at a cost of more than Rs 200 crore, he also launched the new website of the authority and visited the exhibition in the premises and got information about the works related to disaster management.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister honored eight personnel of SDRF, PAC and fire service who saved the lives of people by risking their lives. He said that the state government is giving top priority to disaster management and there will be no shortage of funds in this sector. He also talked about honoring outstanding personnel of other departments, sailors and brave citizens who save lives during man-wildlife conflicts in the future.
The Chief Minister’s visit to Barabanki is being considered important for the development of the district. The completion of these projects is expected to give new impetus to infrastructure, public facilities and development works in the area.
