Corporate employees are tired due to stress, long working hours and lack of work-life balance. Amidst the constant hustle and bustle of achieving goals, office politics and promotions, people are losing their mental health. In this environment, the CEO of a Delhi company is going viral for giving a special gift to his employees on Mother’s Day. Keeping in mind the silent sacrifices made by parents, Grover has announced a heart-touching initiative.

Our parents gave us their time, dreams, energy and many years… without asking for anything in return. Maybe it’s time we asked them just one question: ‘What did you always want to do?’ And then, quietly get it done.” In a video, he paid an emotional tribute to the sacrifices made by parents. Then he made a big move – one that could earn him the title of “Boss of the Year”. He announced that employees will get an allowance of ₹10,000 to take their parents on three-day leave. And yes, these vacation days will be fully paid and will not impact their regular Paid Time Off (PTO) balance.
sharing my experience
He explains, “Before starting this company, there was someone who would wake up at 5 a.m. to cook for me and take care of all the household chores, so that I could spend every moment making my dreams come true. We never know how much time we have left with them. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. So, if there’s a place they’ve always wanted to go, or a moment they’ve always wanted to experience – now is the time. Take them there. Go now.” “Don’t wait. They laid the foundation of our confidence, our values, and our strength. They shaped us when we couldn’t build anything on our own.”
