Delhi, February 8 (). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has alleged that instead of showing confidence in the country’s economic, structural, social and global decisions, Congress and Rahul Gandhi run a campaign of lies, deception and distrust. BJP leaders have also responded to the questions arising on the trade agreement between India and America.
Speaking to , BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh said, “Whenever India takes strong decisions and makes a leap of progress, Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party conspire without facts to tarnish the image of the country. Rahul Gandhi continuously pushes the narrative against India through the foreign toolkit. He tries to give strength to India’s opponents.”
He said that instead of trusting the country’s economic, global and social decisions, opposition leaders run a campaign to spread confusion, lies and distrust. Rahul Gandhi does not feel comfortable in the new opportunities of a growing India and the powerful, but sees the threat of a corrupt and dynastic existence. Tarun Chugh said, “When the country is self-reliant under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has a strong foreign policy and makes new trade agreements in every corner of the world, then Rahul Gandhi and Congress are working to spread despair in the direction of negative politics.”
Tarun Chugh also said that Rahul Gandhi has taken the contract to work against India.
On India-US trade deal, BJP MP Ghulam Ali Khatana said that due to strong relations between America and India, the tariff on many things has reduced from 50 percent to 18 percent. A lot of investment is taking place in India. India is a big exporting country and its human resources are a huge asset. Everyone’s attention is on India, because Prime Minister Narendra Modi is showing the way.
